AutoDivSeparationPercent only applies when using AutoDivSpacing = true. When AutoDivSpacing is used, it’s always trying to find “nice numbers”, that is, based on numbers 10, 5 or 2 as Division. Hi,
most likely reason for this, is to forget to Control.Invoke (WinForms) or Dispatcher.Invoke (WPF) when updating data from background thread to chart. For correct usage, please see ExampleThreadMultiChannel example in the demo applications.

Hello,
Databreaking has affect for performance. Simply calling Double.IsNan() for each point take excessive time.
What version are you using. According to our version log, there's an improvement in 8.1.3 version.
Using other value than NaN is faster, like double.MinValue.

Hi Greg,

I used your code in ExamplePointLineSeriesXY Winforms example, and it sets the log axis correctly.
So, you probably have reference to wrong chart, or wrong x axis (if you have many of them).

In SizeChanged event handler of the chart, you can set chart.View3D.Dimensions.X, Dimensions.Y and Dimensions.Z according to your preferences.
X and Z are 100 by default. Y is 50. Growing Dimensions.X in this case to like 400 would be needed.

Hi,
the rendering order of markers is defined by the order of markers in SeriesEventMarkers collection. So, just rearrange the collection respectively. Marker with index 0 renders in back.

Re: Lock one axis for zoom and pan
Hi,
you can do that by setting
axis.PanningEnabled = False
axis.ZoomingEnabled = False
For all the axes you don't want to respond to zooming and panning gestures. Note these are available not only for Y axes, but X axes as well.

Does the flickering go away?
If there's a problem in DX11 renderer, we definitely want to fix it, please just teach us how to reproduce the issue.

That's difficult question By using rectangle shape of points, and no points optimization at all, our DirectX11 engine should be able to render lots of large points quite nicely. But not as fast for sure than this small dots. Ensure you are using LC 7.1 or newer.

Yes. Use ViewXY.GetMarginsRect().

There unfortunately is no easy way for us to change the behavior without upsetting a lot of users. Many developers want to hide the axis, but show the data that is bound to that hidden axis. If we hide the vertical space for that axis, data is not shown.

Hi!
You can achieve that best by placing SeriesEventMarker on each data point location. You can give individual color and shape for every marker, and you can have thousands of them in the chart. To hide the label of the marker, set marker.Label.Visible = False.
I hope this helps

Stacked Manhattan 3D Bar chart
I made a simple demo how to make stacked manhattan bar chart, by utilizing Polygon3D objects of View3D, and sharing this sample with you ;) LightningChart has Manhattan view out-of-the-box but stacked visualization must be made with a workaround. The sample is made with v.7 Semi-bindable WPF chart. ...

Re: Arction.DirectX.dll File Version
Hello,
The version is still 3.0.0.0 as it's different thing than other LC dlls, it an assembly made with ILMERGE from SharpDX dlls. I've requested our team to increment the number on every build, to prevent problem in the future.

Re: Initial palette loading
Hello,
precompiled shader count is 19 steps in 7.0.2.18 onwards.
To increase the step count, you will need LC source code. Higher precompiled step count means slightly longer delay in initialization of also low step count applications, but greatly improves initialization time with high counts.

Re: Stacked bar series
I believe the chart doesn't support it out-of-the-box.
One approach is to compose it with PolygonSeries. One 4-corner polygon for each bar, and calculate their locations by code.

Re: How to select the used GPU
Thanks for pointing us to correct direction. According to that MS page, it should be possible in DX11. In DX9, not.
We will do further research on this and if possible, add functionality to prefer high-performance GPU when ever available.

Re: How to select the used GPU
There's unfortunately no way for us to select that programmatically. LC renders with hardware it's given to, by the system.

Hi,
Right-click on your desktop and select "NVIDIA control panel".
You should find a place where to control the applications that use Nvidia for rendering. Set "NVidia high-performance graphics" as global setting. Reboot is typically needed.

Hi Igor,
our developer used about two months for it and it went nowhere. Currently we can't provide this functionality.

Re: Exception in ZoomPanOptions
Hello, I browsed through our support e-mails for similar case and found one match with 6.5.2, in the same place. It creates AutoYFit class and fails in timer creation. In this customer's case, memory consumption got very high and by using memory profiler the memory leak was identified in the custome...
